History / Details
Built in 1852 after Rani Rashmoni purchased the Nabadwip zamindari.
Served as the administrative center (Kachari Bari) for managing the zamindari’s affairs.
Constructed specifically to oversee revenue, estate operations, and local administration.
Contains temples dedicated to Radha Govinda Jiu and Gouranga Jiu within the premises.
The temples are still maintained and served today.
Represents part of Rani Rashmoni’s wider legacy of philanthropy and social contribution.
Connected to her other major works, including the Dakshineswar Kali Temple and several Kolkata ghats like Babu Ghat.
