Qualified Candidates Will:

• Specialize in Estate Planning and Business Formation: Your practice should primarily focus on these areas.
• Experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in estate plan drafting.
• Expertise: Be knowledgeable in probate avoidance, asset protection, business formation, succession planning, taxation, Medicaid-related issues, special needs planning and irrevocable trusts.
• Virtual Consultations: Be comfortable conducting consultations via virtual platforms.
• Insurance: Possess professional liability insurance.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing with the State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, business formation, and related areas of law.
• Familiarity with special needs planning is highly desirable.
• Existing private practice.
• Membership to state bar in adjacent states, beneficial.
