Position Summary

Justice By Carter Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Family Law Attorney to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced Family Law Attorney to join our team and contribute to delivering toptier legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of family law excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle cases with empathy and professionalism. This role requires a strategic thinker who can advocate effectively in and out of the courtroom and offer personalized counsel to clients during difficult times.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of family law cases including divorce child custody and support spousal support property division and prenuptial agreements.

• Client Representation: Represent clients in court hearings mediation and settlement negotiations. Ensure all client concerns are addressed with empathy and confidentiality.

• Legal Strategy & Counsel: Develop and execute case strategies that best meet the clients needs providing realistic assessments of potential outcomes.

• Document Preparation: Draft and review pleadings motions discovery responses agreements and court documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress and address any questions or concerns promptly.

• Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with paralegals legal assistants and other attorneys on complex cases and support junior team members as needed.

• Legal Research & Analysis: Stay updated on changes in family law and court procedures and apply relevant case law to ongoing cases.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Bar Membership : Active member in good standing of the specific state Bar.

• Experience : Minimum of X years of experience in family law with a proven track record of managing cases independently.
  

Skills:

• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work with a diverse clientele.

Qualifications: - Family Law expertise - Experience in providing legal advice and conducting legal research - Negotiation skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Experience in the HR industry is a plus - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school - Nice-to-have skills in areas such as Family Law, Patent Law, Estate Planning, Securities Law, Immigration Law, and Workers Compensation Law
