Job Summary: Mindhop is looking for a Junior React and Node.js Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will focus on building scalable and responsive applications with a seamless front-end in React and a solid back-end powered by Node.js. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your technical skills, gain exposure to full-stack development, and contribute directly to impactful transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dynamic front-end applications using React, creating reusable components and ensuring responsive design across devices.
• Assist with back-end development using Node.js, implementing RESTful APIs, and handling data integration with front-end applications.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless data flows and consistent user experiences between the front end and back end.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize performance on both the client and server sides.
• Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, and team meetings.
• Document and maintain code, ensuring readability and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and basic experience with React and Node.js.
• Understanding of RESTful API principles and experience with JSON data structures.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative team spirit.
• Excellent communication skills for clear and concise technical collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and handling API calls in React.
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) is a plus
