We are seeking a strategic Manager of People Partnership to join our people leadership team acting as the primary HR partner for our Technology and Operations client groups. In addition to leading the people partnership with the assigned client group, you will also design and execute initiatives in areas such as employee engagement, employee experience, change leadership and organizational effectiveness. As a core member of the People Leadership Team, you will participate in setting the strategic direction for the People function to ensure the People Team is at the forefront of readiness for this rapidly growing organization.
Manage and mentor a small team of People Partners to support our engineering and research and development teams located primarily in Berkeley, CA and Somerville, MA.
Act as a strategic business partner to senior engineering leaders across the technology organization
Advise managers on employee relations concerns and performance management
Respond to questions regarding employee performance, company programs and policies
Facilitate headcount planning and support strategic org planning exercises
Support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts and help shape the future of DE&I efforts
Facilitate processes for employee engagement survey and action planning and guide the employee experience roadmap and outcomes across Form
Develop and deliver trainings on management topics and people-related processes
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
10+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR business partnering, talent management, staffing, people analytics and team leadership.
Minimum 3 years of HR experience partnering with an engineering, product development or R&D client group in a multi-state or geographically dispersed arrangement.
Proven experience in designing and executing HR programs that drive engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, inspire, and manage a high-performing HR team.
Technically savvy with an ability to learn and apply new technologies or business intelligence tools. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
Core people analytics skills with the ability to apply data to form insights and action plans.
Proven experience designing and leading change initiatives including stakeholder evaluation, change communications and learning campaigns.
Must be able and willing to travel approximately once per month to our locations in the Boston or Berkeley locations and Pittsburgh regions and to work on site in a flexible hybrid environment targeting in-office a minimum 3 days per week.
