Role Summary
You will experience Splunking and what defines our culture while honing the skills which separate our development teams from others. You will get to work with smart and hardworking individuals who are doing state of the art development work in areas of machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics, infrastructure and event correlations across silos to build best-in-class business analytics software.
What you'll get to do
Interact with engineers and other Product Managers to understand customer and user needs in-depth.
Write functional specifications, and set criteria for release readiness with regards to the functionality of the solution within the scope of a contained, end-to-end project.
Work under the close supervision of a mentor with weekly check-ins.
Must-have Qualifications
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related technical field or an MBA with an established technical foundation. Applicants should also possess a strong record of academic achievement
At least one semester/quarter remaining to complete after the internship
Available to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks

Base Pay is based on a candidate completing 2 years of university or the academic equivalent
Base Pay
SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro and New York City Metro Area
Base Pay: $43 per hour
California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts
Base Pay: $40 per hour
All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.
Base Pay: $36 per hour
Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills, year in school and experience of the candidate.
