Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Vice President to lead the Sports Decision Sciences team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a group of dedicated professionals, delivering data-driven insights and strategies to drive audience growth and fan engagement across multiple platforms. As a leader in this field, you'll contribute to the success of sports programming and content strategy, shaping the future of sports media across TV and streaming services.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate Insights: Lead the creation and communication of actionable sports performance insights across multiple platforms.
Data Management: Analyze both TV and streaming data (e.g., Nielsen, Adobe Analytics, etc.) to support key reporting and insights generation. This includes regular event reporting and analysis of performance metrics.
Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with the Consumer Insights team to integrate qualitative research with data insights for a comprehensive view of the sports fan experience.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams across the organization, including Content Strategy, Finance, and Sales, to align on goals and deliver insights that support business decisions.
Strategic Reporting: Innovate and streamline daily, weekly, and monthly reports to ensure that key insights are presented clearly and creatively to stakeholders.
Technology Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technology and systems that enhance workflow efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, creating compelling dashboards and data visualizations that drive informed decision-making.
Performance Benchmarking: Work with leadership to define performance metrics and develop data-driven strategies to meet business objectives.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide critical, time-sensitive analyses to answer strategic business questions and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:
Required:
Experience: 12+ years of experience analyzing large and complex data sets, with a deep understanding of Nielsen methodology, streaming analytics (including Adobe Analytics), and sports industry data.
Sports Industry Knowledge: 10+ years of experience in the sports industry, with a passion for sports and media, and a strong understanding of the sports media business cycle.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Analytics. Experience with other coding languages is a plus.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position, with a minimum of three days a week in the office.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $190,000 - $250,000, plus bonus and Long-Term Incentive (LTI) eligibility.
